Planning East Committee Meeting, Council Offices, Canards Grave Road, Shepton Mallet BA4 5BT
The planning application will be heard at this meeting of the Planning East Committee. You can read the planning officers report, which recommends approval, here.
We need as many people as possible to attend! Let us know if you need a lift. Meanwhile, here’s our advice about getting there / parking:
Suggest leaving Frome by at least 12.45 to allow time for parking, signing in and getting to the Council Chamber. Driving from Frome access to the Council Offices Car Park is from Cannards Grave Road.
There are 8 Disabled Parking Spaces. Parking should be available throughout the site not just in the Visitor’s spaces. Alternative 2 hour free parking is available at Tesco across the road from the Council Office entrance
Those who wish to hold up placards with photos of the fields, suggest congregating outside or inside (depending on the weather) at 1.30pm at the entrance to the Council Chamber.
You may have to sign in at the Customer Service Desk, but if not you can go straight to the Council Chamber, there are stairs and a lift. The Customer Service Desk will give you directions to the Chamber should you need them.
The meeting will start at 2pm precisely.
