We need 5000 signatures on the petition which aims to get the fencing around the fields removed.

5000 signatures triggers a debate at the Somerset Council Full Council meeting.

No decisions about these fields (apart from the planning application) have ever been debated at a Council meeting.

The decision to sell, the decision to enter into an option agreement with a developer (with no tender process), the decision to fence them off….decision after decision taken without any discussion with the community who has cared for this space for 50 years, with our elected representatives on the Council or with our local parish council, Frome Town Council.

Let’s see if we can change that and get this matter debated properly.
